Local ingredients are essential to quality food.
I’m a firm believer that they go hand in hand, nurturing us in ways we may not even grasp. This intimate relationship with our food has a way of bringing us back to our roots; reminding us of traditions as we harmonize with land and culture once more. Over the last five months, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Raffaele and Madison as their marketing and comms manager.
If you’re new here, trust that I’m sitting across this computer screen, smiling and welcoming you with open arms. During the short amount of time I’ve been with the company, I’ve witnessed a sense of community that is naturally centered around Mano Bella – It begins with the farmers we partner with, their visits to the restaurant as they deliver freshly harvested produce or meat, and it finds itself into the heart of the wandering locals at the farmers market on a Saturday morning.
In the coming journals, I’ll be sharing stories of the farmers we partner with; diving deeper into the relationships and hidden work that entails what we proudly serve, forging that connection we desire to share with you. While our new website has been several months in the making, we are thrilled to finally be here; in this place of creativity, community, and gratitude.
And the very best part is – you’re here with us.
